Family and friends, on June 3rd Central Hampshire Veteran Services and the Northampton Vets Council will be holding our inaugural Clarkie's Pub Crawl in honor of Gerry Clark, Vietnam Veteran, Veteran Service Officer and active member of many of the local veterans organizations. One of the projects near and dear to Gerry's heart was the council's Welcome Home Tour, a bus trip taking local Vietnam Era Veterans to visit Washington D.C. and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. With Gerry's passing last winter, the project stalled a bit, but we're hopeful that this event will jumpstart both enthusiasm and fundraising for the project. Beginning on June 3rd at 12:00 PM, we've got a charter bus that will take us through many of Gerry's old stomping grounds between Florence, Hatfield and Hamp, beginning and ending at VFW Post 8006. Tickets are $50 and include a seat on the bus and a Clarkie's Pub Crawl t-shirt. There will also be an after party at VFW Post 8006, at 6PM, following the crawl. Tickets are $20 and include a t-shirt. Please let me know if you're interested.
