PURPLE HEART PLAQUE DEDICATION CEREMONY The Town of Palmer Town Council, Veteran Services’ Department and the Western Massachusetts Chapter 875 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart will pay honor and tribute to Purple Heart Recipients of the Town of Palmer, by dedicating a plaque in their honor. Palmer, MA, August 13th 6:00 – 6:30 pm The Palmer Town Council, Veteran Services’ Department, and Western Massachusetts Chapter 875 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) is honored to announce the dedication of a plaque honoring the service and sacrifice of combat wounded veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal. The event will take place at Town Hall, 4417 Main Street, in Palmer, on Monday, August 13th from 6 - 6:30 pm. This dedication ceremony is to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s men and women in uniform that were wounded or killed by the enemy while serving to protect the freedoms enjoyed by all Americans. Veterans, Family Members, Loved One’s, Friends of Veterans and Community Members are all encourage to attend and show their support. Troy Brin is a US Army Retired Combat Veteran who serves as the Director of Veteran Services in the Town of Palmer.
